Inaguración de BOTÁNICO: exposición por Chari Nogales

El viernes 26 de octubre será la inaguración de la exposición ‘Botánico’ de Chari Nogales. Os esperamos en ANDA a las 19.00, donde podréis conocer a Chari, y disfrutar de su obra mientras tomamos un aperitivo juntos. ¡Y por supuesto tus amigos también son bienvenidos!

Sobre su trabajo:

BOTÁNICO es un conjunto de 12 ilustraciones, creadas con distinto materiales como acrílico, acuarela y bolígrafo en su mayoría, que han sido realizadas todas en este año 2018, realizadas por Chari Nogales.

Se trata de expresar distintos sentimientos y emociones a través de la ilustración de miradas y plantas, con toques de poesía y surrealismo y donde la figura femenina tiene el papel protagonista.

Chari Nogales es una ilustradora y diseñadora gráfica granadina que, después de cursar ciencias ambientales y ver que no era lo suyo, acabó realizando una diplomatura en Diseño Gráfico y producción multimedia. Había abandonado la idea de dedicarse a la ilustración, algo que siempre estuvo presente desde su niñez, pero después de matricularse en diseño volvió a ella de manera profesional conjuntamente con su trabajo como diseñadora. Ha trabajado para varias editoriales granadinas, sobretodo para Valparaíso Ediciones de la cual es diseñadora y maquetadora desde sus inicios.

About the work:

BOTÁNICO is a set of 12 illustrations, created with different materials such as acrylic, watercolour and ballpoint pen. All illustrations have been made in the year 2018, by Chari Nogales.

The exhibition expresses different feelings and emotions through the illustration of people and plants – with touches of poetry and surrealism. In all illustrations, the female has a leading role.

Chari Nogales is an illustrator and graphic designer from Granada who, after studying environmental sciences and finding out that this was not her thing, ended up doing a diploma in Graphic Design and Multimedia Production. She had abandoned the idea of educating herself in art and illustration for a while, something that had always been present since her childhood, but after enrolling in design studies, she returned to this childhood dream and picked up her work as a designer. After her studies, Chari has worked for several publishing houses in Granada, like Valparaíso Ediciones, which she has been designing for since the beginning of the company.
